Blisters and CrossFit Go Hand in Hand

Three popped blisters! :eek:
I did 13.5 at CrossFit ATR today and got 57 reps. I can’t do chest to bar pull ups (I’m working on it!) so I did regular chin over bar pull ups. Doing 13.5 just told me I need to do Fran over again. The last time I did Fran, I used a band for pull ups so I need to rx it!
After 13.5, I worked on butterfly pull ups again and was able to string 3 good ones together! :-D
Unfortunately, I ripped up my hands and popped 3 blisters. That’s 3 for 3. Boo. Blisters and CrossFit go hand in hand but damn, it feels just as bad each time.
Again, ouch. The stinging drives me crazy!
In other news, I got a new toy:
It’s a jacknobber (<- affiliate link)! I borrowed someone’s at the gym and loved it. It’s great for working out knots out my forearm which still needs a ton of work. It’s also good for glutes; just lie on top of it as you would a lacrosse ball.
I ate half a pure protein bar at the gym and returned home for more food.
A pancake with sunbutter, banana slices, and cinnamon (that’s completely Paleo!)
And the most delicious mango!
Now I’m feeling snacky so I’m off to find more food!
